Tramdepot Münchensteinerstrasse, Basel

Our surveying professionals captured the smallest details of this streetcar depot in Basel with our laser scanners. Although the scanner doesn't lie, it can't see through walls and needs the right position to capture information.

In order to record the supporting structure underneath the streetcar depot, a large number of scan positions were necessary in a very confined space. Thanks to a very short scan time of one minute per position, we can perform such challenges very efficiently.

The captured data is processed and stored in a so-called "point cloud". We use the point cloud data as a data basis to model a highly accurate 3D and BIM model.
