In the case of the baroque-style Hotel Monopol building, the McDonald's premises were allowed to be precisely recorded by the VDE surveying team using the Riegl VZ40i scanner.

For a remodeling project, VDE was specially commissioned by its guest to precisely model the ceiling ornaments.

Since highly precise measurements could be taken on site, it was easier for their drawing team to respond to the special wishes of their guest.
