A 3D CAD terrain model provides a precise representation of the topographic features of a terrain. It captures elevation changes, slopes, levels and other terrain details, resulting in an accurate and realistic representation.
This project required the high VDE terrain standard, which means we modeled fences, manholes, trees, walls, stairs, etc. in addition to the native terrain.
The buildings were requested as a cube with doors but without windows, since only the heights of the buildings and entrances will be relevant for the upcoming planning.
For the shafts, we measured and specified the shaft depths in addition to the position. In order to enhance the project with additional existing information, we implemented cadastral plans in the 2D plans.
The result is a complete overview of the terrain with all details and important information for planning.
