We all know the situation. You drive into the city center by car - and as soon as you start looking for a free parking space, things get stressful. A well-planned infrastructure is crucial for the functioning of a city.

In Switzerland, we are fortunate that our infrastructure performs very well in a global comparison, but this is no reason to sit back and relax. In the World Economic Forum's country comparison, Switzerland ranks fourth in the world with a score of "almost perfect".

This observation is deceptive, because the infrastructure we rely on today has been created over many years through continuous investment. We are pleased that we can help to keep existing infrastructure at a world-class level in many areas with building surveys.

One example of this is our work on the Urania parking garage in Zurich, where we use 3D laser scanning technology to carry out precise building surveys. The resulting point cloud data serves as the basis for the 3D CAD model and this as the planning basis for future refurbishment projects.
