Hotel Ambassador & Opera, Zürich
The two hotels Opera and Ambassador are located in the middle of idyllic Seefeld. The Hotel Opera was completely surveyed inside and out in order to create a 3D ArchiCAD model from the data. At the Hotel Ambassador, the special task was to evaluate the facades as well as the top floor, since no renovations are currently being carried out in the other areas.
The challenge with hotels is to record the many rooms that are often used by guests while the hotel is in operation. The VDE works discreetly and protects everyone's privacy. By using the latest surveying technology, individual rooms can be recorded in a matter of minutes, allowing guests to continue their stay undisturbed.
