In the family-friendly Friesenberg district in the south of Zurich, one house follows another: 69 terraced houses that all look the same at first glance. Since the estate was placed under protection last year, new requirements apply to future conversions.
Previously, conversions and adaptations could largely be planned freely as long as they complied with building regulations. However, with the listing, additional requirements have been added: any structural alterations must now comply with the guidelines for the preservation of historical monuments in order to preserve the historic character of the estate.
And this is exactly where our contribution comes into play: we have created a detailed 3D model from precise laser scanning images, which will serve as the basis for future building applications.
