Switzerland - Arrival Day - The rain brings an indescribable atmosphere. At the end of March, I arrived at Zurich Airport. Joao was waiting with a radiant smile. Together, we drove to Chur, where I would work and study. It was a time to focus on exploring Switzerland.
The view from the office - mountains surround everything. The friendliness and hospitality of the people in Switzerland are remarkable. Livio patiently helped me and took me to Arosa, where I experienced snow-covered mountains. Joao became a good friend, and the colleagues at work made sure I didn't feel lost.
Enjoying breathtaking landscapes in Switzerland. The kindness of the people made it easier for me to adapt. When I walk through the forests, I often see people going in the opposite direction, joyfully greeting each other. This friendliness made the initially unfamiliar feeling here lighter for me. Or when trying to buy a bus ticket, you simply ask someone nearby, and they will kindly guide you until you can purchase the ticket and reach your destination.
Winter wonderland. The opportunity to explore Arosa on winter days in Switzerland is truly an unforgettable experience. The icy cold of the winter air still lingers, creating an interesting atmosphere. To reach Arosa, I had to navigate through 365 curves, like a story passed down from generation to generation.
It's not easy for those who easily experience motion sickness, and I felt like I had experienced an adventure with all the twists and turns of life in just one ride. Although there were times when I couldn't bear it and the journey had to be interrupted multiple times, I had the opportunity to admire the beautiful scenery along the road, especially taking unforgettable photos of the Langwieser Viaduct Bridge and stopping to enjoy the sight of the mixture of rain and snow. The snowflakes melt instantly in the palm of your hand, giving you a wonderful feeling.
Hiking through the forests of Switzerland. Hiking became my favorite pastime. Switzerland offers impressive nature that I explored through many hikes. The historic old towns like Chur, Zurich, Bern, and Lucerne felt like a journey into the past.
Work experience in Switzerland: A journey of cultural and professional exchange. During my exchange program in Switzerland, I had unforgettable experiences with my colleagues that allowed me to learn important Swiss values and working methods.
Firstly, I became aware of the value of time and preparation. The Swiss value accuracy and punctuality in their work. They always complete tasks according to a fixed schedule and ensure that everything runs according to plan. Through this experience, I understood the importance of organizing work carefully and conscientiously. I also learned how to prepare comprehensive documentation to smoothly carry out tasks and avoid unnecessary problems.
Secondly, I experienced the high work ethic and commitment of the Swiss. They put in a lot of effort and dedicate themselves to every task they undertake. Attention to detail and concentration are important qualities that I learned from them. When I worked with them, I clearly saw their attentive and enthusiastic work ethic, which inspired me to adopt a strong and determined work ethic.
Thirdly, I noticed the care and precision with which the Swiss approach every task. They pay attention to even the smallest detail and ensure that everything reaches the highest level of perfection. Their attention to detail and precise execution of work taught me to approach tasks with care and concentration. Even with multiple projects within the same timeframe, their caution helped minimize potential errors.
In a place with a hot climate like Vietnam, working outdoors is not particularly pleasant for many people, including myself. However, when I work in Switzerland, I thoroughly enjoy the fresh and cool air of this place.
I appreciate the atmosphere and scenery while working. I learned to operate a Riegl laser scanner, the accuracy and efficiency
