Is it possible to measure entire sites?

It's Friday evening and everyone is on their way to closing time. The machines have been shut down and the lights have been switched off. But not for the tireless employees of VDE AG.

While everyone else is preparing for a relaxing weekend, we have an important mission to accomplish.

A difficult task, as the large machines of the plant normally cause too much vibration to perform such a job. Therefore, we decided to carry out the scanning work over the weekend.

With three Riegl VZ 400i scanners in use, my team and I captured a total of 928 scan positions across the site. An impressive achievement, which shows that we are ready for any challenge and are not afraid to work outside regular working hours to satisfy our guests.
