From polymechanic to geomatics technician

During my apprenticeship, I already realized that the profession of polymechanic was not my long-term vocation. Although the work fulfilled me at the time and I was able to learn a lot during my apprenticeship, I felt a desire for change deep inside me. When I became a member of VDE AG in 2013, I had just completed my training as a polymechanic and started my career in building surveying.

After gaining 5 years of work experience, I started professional development in 2018 and began studying to become a geomatics engineer, which I successfully completed in 2022.

Now I have been working in the field of building surveying for 10 years. During my time in this field, I have already been able to experience numerous exciting experiences.

From surveying single-family homes to apartment buildings, from factory buildings to high-rise buildings, whether in winter or summer, whether alone or in a team, whether it's a car or a piece of art - my motto is always to scan everything that doesn't resist.

This professional development has not only broadened my skill set, but also strengthened my passion for working in the surveying industry. I look forward to more challenges and opportunities that I will encounter in my professional life. The past 10 years at VDE have been an exciting journey that has shaped me both personally and professionally. I am proud to be part of a team that continuously strives for excellence.
