In this project, state-of-the-art laser technology meets traditional construction methods. The historic timber-framed building is being renovated. VDE delivers a total package from the measurement of the buildings by laser scanner to the 3D BIM model. The effect of highly accurate 3D models is significant, reduced costs and risks already during the planning and construction process. Because all steps in the construction process are linked and mapped in a digital chain. In this way, potential problems and conflicts can already be identified in the 3D model of the planned construction project, which can consequently be solved digitally immediately.
