Is a 3D as-built survey worth the effort?

Allow me to introduce you to La Planaria, a recently formed planning firm that provides architectural, construction management and consulting services to the high-rise construction sector. La Planaria prides itself on incorporating regional architecture and combining traditional building techniques with contemporary and timeless requirements and needs. In doing so, Larissa relies on 3D planning.

One of La Planaria's first projects was a renovation in Brigels. In order to effectively discuss, analyze, and implement her vision and her clients' needs and desires, Larissa had VDE's laser scanners measure the existing building and model the existing structure in 3D.

And the results speak for themselves - as you can see from the images, La Planaria has upgraded the chalet-style building with an energy renovation, and an extension that fits perfectly with the existing regional architecture.
